Could somebody please explain to me the difference between?

Question

A] Beef soup.

B] Beef broth.

The 2 seem to be very similar in many ways
what is it that makes them differ from each other?

Broth is made by boiling th ebeef meat. It's clear and has nothing in it chunk-wise.

Beef soup uses beef broth as a base, but also has chunks of beef, veggies, potatoes,, and/or pasta in it.

Broth = just the liquid - no solids - suitable as a starter to soup or sauces

Soup=broth = with vegetables and if you choose meat and rice or noodles.
