you cant be serious!?
if you didn't know, which if you didn't you shouldn't be shooting a pellet gun anyway, the pellets are made out of LEAD!
ever heard of lead poisoning? yeah, you can DIE from it!
but go ahead, keep it in. it will be neat, until the surrounding area is red, itchy and has red streaks. then if you are still as thick as the lead pellets you are using, then i hope it gets worse.
a lot worse.
good luck though, hope you die of poisoning. it will be one less stupid person i have to deal with every day.

See a doctor, don't trust your life to the people answering here, most of whom appear to be idiots who do not have your best interests at heart.

Bullets are not typically left in by doctors.

Heavy metal poisonong, plumbism in this case, can cause irreversable brain damage.

It's a minor problem, get it removed before it becomes a major problem. My friend removed schrapnel from his legs with an M38 can opener, I don't suggest you try that way.

Yes, you should have it removed. Many air gun pellets are made of lead. Lead is not a good metal to have inside the human body.

"The term "lead poisoning" is sometimes used as a dysphemism for gunshot wounds, as almost all bullets are mainly composed of lead. Despite this, bullets lodged in the body rarely cause significant levels of lead poisoning.[8] Bullets lodged in the joints are the exception, as they deteriorate and release lead into the body over time.[9]"

I still have shrapnel the doctors left in my body. It will work its way out, if it starts to bother you or it gets red or starts pussing from the wound go to the doctor get some antibiotics and have them remove it.

I shot a kid in the head with my bb gun when i was a kid and the doctors took his out. Take it out and keep it in a jar for show and tell.

I had one in my foot for over 25 yr. It started to bother me though because it had worked its way up near the skin so I had my wife remove it with my pocket knife and needle nose pliers. If it is in soft tissue and not bothering you don't bother.

Leave it in there , if it's close to the surface it will eventually work its way out. It's gonna hurt, but deal with it, wash it out with rubbing alcohol to ensure it doesn't get infected. You may need to help it along with a sterile pocket knife.

In the cowboy movies, they always dig the bullet out. In hospital, they're normally left in place. If it's in an inconvenient place and bothering you, you could schedule an excision, but it's normally not needed and not done.
