Is chicken broth the same as chicken stock?

For all intents and purposes, YES.

Some argue that one is made from simming BONE IN chicken and the other involves boneless.

Use them interchangably to suit your purposes. I would recommend adding extra salt (and maybe even chicken boullion) if you use the stock and your dish doesn't turn out flavorful enough.

Essentially, yes, for most recipes, it is.

Chicken stock is made by boiling bones. Chicken broth is made by boiling meat.

chicken stock is onion, celery, carrotts, seasonings and chicken stewed in water and then strained. Chicken broth is chicken stewed in water.
