One of the signs of maturity is the ability to take some criticism whether you think it is necessary, justified, or fair.By putting so many "do -nots" on your piece, you limit the validity of any responses you may get.Having said that, I agree with your listed signs as an indication of the bond you share with this guy. However, the following are true also and you need to think about them:1)your boyfriend is older than you and under the law,can be prosecuted for statutory rape and other charges2)you are indeed young and while I am not saying you can't experience feelings of love, you are still "inexperienced"and can be taken advantage of and/or abused3) you can be used for ulterior motives like sex etc4) I don't believe your parents will agree to you dating him.5) have you given any thought to the nature of the relationship you are going to have with this guy who is almost a young adult. All in all, I ask you to think seriously about the issues I have raised before you act and ,if possible , to talk to a discreet family member or confidant.Good luck to you.

Okay. Well I am dating the LOVE of my life for about a year now. He is 2 years older than me. But to me and my family age does not matter becuase he has the same morals as me. First tell your parents becuase they should lknow who you are dating becuse they need to be apart og your life, and two you need to make sure that this guy has the same morals as you and you do not end up doing something that you are going to reget. Also he might just be doing it just to get into your pants but I can not say that until i would meet him..But I would just be careful..you never know he really might be the love of you life. But rember respect what your parents have to say too.

I believe that age is just a number as long as it is legal...

even if you both are happy there should be no sexual activity between you since u are so young.. if you both are having sex together then that is just wrong and disgusting.. sex at 14 is not okay and parents need to raise there kids better these days.

Really there isn't a big age difference. 3 years isn't that bad. But your family might think you should wait tell your more mature to be dating someone 3 years older than you. But really, if you are both so in love, don't let anyone stop you. Love conquers all!

He will be too old for you as soon as he hits 18. He will be an adult and you are still a child. He cannot get near you once he turns 18 (in a lot of cases most would say he isn't allowed to now)

Sweetie, you're talking "apples and oranges"...and I don't care about points, so you can ignore this if you want to, but you're too young at 14 to really know what TRUE LOVE is...some people wait all their lives for IT to happen, but 14 is just too immature to decide you're whole future, just because he's cute and you think you know what each other's thinking!
You need to get out and have fun, but...I know you won't...I know you'll say "Oh, she's stupid, she doesn't know what she's talking about, we're DIFFERENT"...no you're not...and Time Will Tell.

Personally, I think age is just a number. But the government begs to differ
