if your talking about an intelligent man then there's a lot of things you can talk about. mainly world issues such as the war in Iraq, politics, sports, things they want to do with their life, ummm hell some even talk about wanting a family one day.
As far as things we hate in relationships go, man, where do I start. When your man does something wrong and he acknowledges the fact that he messed up, LET IT GO!!!!
We hate when women constantly bring up **** that we done wrong. Nagging...DON'T DO IT, it's annoying as hell and it reminds us of our mothers. Don't try to talk to us when the game is on, I'm sorry I know it sounds petty but we don't bother y'all when your watching your stories or lifetime or Oprah for that matter.
To keep your relationship strong and healthy, be open-minded, we love to explore "new boundaries" so atleast be up to try things once if you don't like it then let him know.
Jealous kills all things, I mean a lilttle jealousy is good but too much is murder.

I'v always thought if your in a good relationship you should be able to talk about pretty much anything, its the number one sign that your suited to each other.
things men hate -
controlling behaviour and petty one-upmanship. Im sure most women hate that too, both parties can be equally guilty.
things women can do to keep relationship strong-
keep paying attention on the man and don't blow hot and cold. Again, the same thing could be said about the man's behaviour towards the women. Same set of rules for both parties basically.

That's a tough one, because it's three questions.
We like to talk about just about anything, including the future,
things we want to do, wish we could do, places we like to go.
As for what we hate in a relationship, it varies from man to man. But using myself as an example, I would have to say
manipulation, intimidation, deceit, unreliability, lack of trust,
cheating, smoking, a lady's family's control, defiance.
What could a lady do? Be open minded, easy going, respectful, truthful, reliable, loyal, and some times compromising.

answers in order of questions asked... define mature... talk about anything man like.. sports, news, sex.... things men hate are bad sex, chick flicks, and fashion shows that don't involve bikinis..... things a woman can do is great sex, little conversation outside of sports and alcohol. and wear skimpy outfits at home...
