while you're something like me, being "mentally arranged" is understanding the worst obtainable eventualities. Be arranged that the vet could desire to take him back to the workplace for x-rays, so get the service waiting. You did no longer point out how your kitten landed? Did he l and on his ft? The fluid and the wheezing could be obtainable if he cracked a rib. you does no longer sense a cracked rib until you have been knowledgeable, even with the incontrovertible fact that it could influence lung function and respiratory. There could desire to be some harm around the nasal section that could desire to influence his respiratory. Co-by the way, he could have a kitty chilly, which affected his stability/equilibrium, that's why he fell interior the 1st place. you're doing the the main suitable option element by employing protecting the kitten calm -- he little question had the wind knocked out of him massive time. Now, you are going to be able to desire to maintain calm. Make a advantageous cup of tea, the vet could be transforming into thepersistent in a couple of minutes. good luck and stay calm. extra: thank you for the replace....spleens could properly be bumped off and livers can heal. i visit deliver good suggestions on your cat's finished restoration. besides on your prayers, create a halo of sparkling white easy of risk-free practices around your cat. good luck, and that i wish all is unquestionably.

She's a normal weight for a cat of that age.If she looks OK,then I wouldn't worry.Males are usually, but not always,a bit heavier than females, but 8 lbs.is considered to be average for a cat. I have had a cat who never got over 6 lbs.and others who weigh close to 20 lbs.

Importance of body condition assessment

Assessing body condition is an important step in the overall evaluation of a companion animal's nutritional well-being. Particularly in cases where the cat or dog appears to be obese or thin, it is important to evaluate total health of the dog or cat before a proper nutritional management program is selected. The following body condition charts help explain body condition terms.

Cat Body Condition Chart

Thin Cat
Ribs, lumbar vertebrae and pelvic bones easily visible
Thin neck and narrow waist
Obvious abdominal tuck
No fat in flank folds, folds often absent

Underweight Cat
Backbone and ribs easily palpable
Minimal fat covering
Minimal waist when viewed from above
Slightly tucked abdomen

Ideal Cat
Ribs palpable, but not visible
Slight waist observed behind ribs when viewed from above
Abdomen tucked up, flank fold present

Overweight Cat
Slight increase in fat over ribs, but still easily palpable
Abdomen slightly rounded, flanks concave
Flank folds hang down with moderate amount of fat—jiggle noted when walking

Obese Cat
Ribs and backbone not easily palpable under a heavy fat covering
Abdomen rounded; waist barely visible to absent
Prominent flank folds which sway from side to side when walking

if you are still not sure, ask your vet

if your kitten is 11 mo.s, its a cat
here are two things
1) it may be pregnant if its a girl. my cat gave birth when she was one year old
2) if its a boy, its normal, cause my other cat is like 4-5 years old now and she weighs over 10 lbs.

I think it is normal. Your cat might be under-weight if her ribs are showing, and over-weight if you can't feel her ribs at all. Next time you go to the vet, ask.
