I am very likely to. And I would not just do it for family or a friend, but to try and find understanding.
A key though is to be respectful while you are there too. I have seen non-Christians at services and the entire time they are talking and rolling their eyes. While I'm sure that Christians have done this same thing at services for other religions I have not seen it because when I have gone to services/events for other faiths (pagan, Buddhist, Shinto...etc) I have been (as far as I know) the only person their not of that faith.

I have been to several different services for different religions. Muslim, Christian (many kinds), Judaism, Pagan, Wiccan, many many others.
I've no problem with any of it. Of course, I'm kind of unique in that I think that a loving god would not condemn those who don't follow a particular religion.

I'm a Jew living now in a Southern state, surrounded by Christians, especially Baptists. I worked with a lady who "dared" me to come to her church for a Sunday service- she said I would never do it. I told her I'd be happy to go to her church if she would come to a Shabbat service some Friday night with me. Of course, I went (on ladie's day- a 3 hour service no less).... still waiting 4 years later for her to come with me to temple! I've been to Catholic masses and all sorts of denominations of Christian services and I've encouraged my kids and grandkids to do the same as well as inviting their friends to come with us. We've had several of my grandson's friends come to shabbat with us and they all loved it.

Sure, for a friend or someone, but I would tend, mostly, to look at their literature as it's quicker. I tend to love people and if their beliefs sounded good I would want to see them in therir natural habitat. hah How likely?. .1 percent, but then I don't get out much.

As an atheist, EVERY religion is not my own. Additionally, I would never attend ANY religious gathering of any kind if at all possible. It would be hypocritical in the extreme.

I'm in. Have tried a lot of stuff like this. It's not always a fit, but people are usually so nice and willing to share things with you.

Definately. I'd love to observe how others worship in order to learn more about other religions.

To become involved is equal to worshipping THEIR god.
I spelt god with a samll 'g' on purpose, just like the Bible does when referring to gods other than Almighty God.
