I am a 2nd year teacher and I need a rug for my classroom library. I am on a budget so I was wondering if anyone knows stores that sell cheap rugs?

Look for remnants at any dealer.
Haggle on price. Those have been charged to jobs and considered paid for.
Ask them to donate for school. I often did.

Don't use a loop as a Berber, unless you have the edges bound. They will run and ravel.
Find a plush, won't need that.

I often gave discontinued samples to schools.
They taped them together.
Sizes 18"X27". Some 27"X54". They are already bound.

Good luck. Poor mouth it.

Try Home Depot, Lowe's, or Wal-Mart. I've priced rugs at these places and they're pretty reasonable as well as accessible.
Good luck as a teacher. America needs good teachers as well as more support from communities, parents, and the Legislature. God knows y'all certainly don't make enough money, that's why I didn't become an English teacher. Not enough pay here in Mississippi.
Good luck and God bless!

IKEA has some very resonablly priced area rugs. We bought one for our kids last year. If you don't have an IKEA near you then you might try one of the large discount stores like Target or WalMart.
I wish you well as a teacher, we need lots of good ones.
