I've hardly been on Yahoo!Answers the last months, but each time I check in the last couple of weeks, I notice some of my Pagan friends having been deleted.

What's up with that? Is it Anti-Pagan Season or something? Did Pagans do something horrible that I never noticed before? Did Pagans replace us atheists as "scum-of-the-earth" ?

What happened?

(Little edit: bonus question: Is Yahoo! in on this anti Pagan sceme? They offered to post this question in "Society & Culture > Holidays > Halloween".... Oh well)

Good to see you, Markyyy.

Things are getting a bit ugly here. Granted, R&S was always a free-for-all, but lately the "deletion targets" are from across the entire spectrum. Including some of us in the Catholic corner.

Halloween??? How odd. Maybe I should post an All Soul's Day question and see if I get the same suggestion.

Umm ... welcome back, I think!

howdy, welcome lower back! Nope, we atheists are nevertheless the scum of the Earth, in basic terms ask any accessible Fundie. Pangel (all and sundry's widespread Pagan) is recuperating from her maximum present deletion and remains with us. the super concern now's Christians who abuse the abuse flag and report a report each and every time everyone says something they might't trust. i think of checklist numbers of non-christians have become deleted presently. Awhile lower back, i replaced into averaging 3.8 violation notices consistent with day -- for no longer something yet expressing my very own opinion. I now think of a few Christians are finally beginning up to attain different persons have rights too. Peace & Love.......

Hey, welcome back!

Nope, we atheists are still the scum of the Earth, just ask any available Fundie. Pangel (everybody's favorite Pagan) is recovering from her most recent deletion and is still with us. The big problem now is Christians who abuse the abuse flag and file a report every time anyone says something they can't agree with. I think record numbers of non-christians are getting deleted these days. Awhile back, I was averaging 3.8 violation notices per day -- for nothing but expressing my own opinion. I now think some Christians are finally beginning to realize other people have rights too.

Peace & Love.......

Yeah there's a bunch of rudeness going on. I had two threats over the past few months having my account deleted from various people simply because they didn't like my questions.

However, I enjoy the pagans, most of the atheists, muslims, and other folks. Most are very intelligent and offer great questions/answers.

I really hope it is just kids and not Christians doing this, but it would not surprise me if it were.

It makes me wonder sometimes if there are only a few of us who remember that "love thy neighbor as thyself" is fully HALF of what Jesus said were the 2 MOST important things we are to do.

And, as I recall he didn't add "except for atheists or Pagans (or Muslims or Buddhists or Hindus.....etc.)

Ask the TrollPatroll, they probably know what happened to your Pagan friends.

I am on your side buddy. Unnecessary violations on non-trolls are becoming the norm since this group was berthed. Yahoo is already tracking their members and activities. Grass roots vigilantism rarely solves the problem when trolls themselves infiltrate the cause.

That's just crazy, isn't it? The pagan population here are some of the most tolerant, friendliest, best people I've met! Which is probably why they're being targeted. =(
*sigh*

No its those really crazy (not saying all are) Christians, fundies, and all around nuts that are reporting people unjustly. I keep seeing misinformed people saying Pagan people worship the devil or that they are of the devil *sighs* I wish people would learn about new things including other religions.

It's been very dry on this side of the pond . The Druids and Aztecs might have been sacrificing them to the rain gods .;D
