Many religions seek to cover women in one way or another so as to "alleviate temptations of the flesh" I say it is a man's problem to keep his libido in check as well as his vocal chords if a woman decides to dress as she chooses for the weather or what ever her reason.

I really hope a religious scholar can address this issue for it is to me the root cause of many worldly problems arising from theocracy and religion and tho islam is to me the worst offender the christians and jews wish they could and used to do some of the things muslims do today. I also wonder how it ties in to sexual repression and why some countries allow nudity despite a heavy christian influence(germany, holland et al)

Let's keep it real, it's only Islam that does this crap. It's not any "many" religions. And yes, over time and conditioning, Muslim men raised in Islam have a natural contempt for the female, and the burden of "honor" and "chastity" fall so heavily upon her exclusively. In my opinion, yes...they are weak, immoral and degenerate because I should be able to look as fine as I want to, have on the most seductive perfume, and showing off my lovely assets to the T and no man should seek to violate me. If they do, THEY are the one's with the self-control issues. It's not an issue of my "honor" or "chastity", whatever the hell that is anyway that the Muslims harp on incessantly.

I had to wonder about that to, glad you asked that question. It does seem like they are more into sex than most men. Not saying that is wrong it just seems that culture is more into multiple wives and concubines and if they see a women go crazy and have to have her. King David had a ton of wives and still went crazy over this one woman, that was a surprise. He was willing to kill a man to have her and lost his relationship with God. He had a lot to loose. don't know of a European king who did that, unless his wife didn't give him a son. For them it was all about having children.

Every culture has different ways of dealing with and minimizing social anxieties related to the natural temptation posed by barely dressed women. Those customs and prohibitions generally are effective, or they would not survive. Violations of those limits on women still occur, as do violations of women, regardless of the culture or their choice of dress. Self-control is excercised by most men worldwide, regardless of the clothes worn by the women. If your daughter had a choice to dress with less than the culture you find yourself in allowed, would you give her choice your blessing?

People are responsible for their own sexual urges. But men only have enough blood to furnish one head at a time. So when there is blood in one head, the other one shuts down. Sorry guys...it's true.

Ya
But since a small percentage of the population can't do that, the woman is taking a huge chance.

Yay! When are they going to legalize nudity? It totally irks me that men get to appear in public without tops on and I have to flippin' put on a shirt.

Considering that most religions were created by MEN - is there little surprise that THEY are the ones in power? ;););)
