Ever go into any church gift shops and notice you never see anything relating to humor? Catholics and Christians had to laugh at some point, even when they wasn't forcing there beliefs and killing people who didn't believe.

Oh I'm sure Jesus had a sense of humor, but it [unfortunately] became lost in the translations over the centuries. What's funny in one language, country, and era can easily fall flat in another.
And God HAS to have a sense of humor; demonstrable if for no other reason in that humans [and some primates to a lesser degree] innately have the gift of laughter... and it *is* a gift.

Jesus, if he ever existed, sounds like the kind of self-righteous prig who could only laugh at another's suffering. God was even worse, according to the bible. But then, if god exists, one has only to look at the Chimp in the White House to know what a practical jokester he must be! And, televangelist hair - come on!!!

If you hate it so much then why were you in a Christian gift shop anyway? I stay away from places that I don't like. If you looked around while you were there, you would noticed alot of comic DVD's, CD's and books. Open you're eyes sometime.

I've seen stuff by Christian comedians, like Mark Lowry and others. Of course God and Jesus have a sense of humor. How could their creation have a sense of humor if they don't. It's not evil to have one you know. I think it's essential for survival.

Jesus does have a sense of humor! I dreamt I met Jesus and said, "I'm nervous about talking to you". And Jesus replied, "Considering all the books written about me, I'd be nervous, too" .

Perhaps the best indication that God does have a sense of humor is that He created man in His image! (Genesis 1:27)

there is comic dvd's at christian bookstores. visit one and see
God and Jesus are one as John 10:30 states.
God played a joke on me twice, so i know He does have a sense of humor. Was quite funny to.

Yes, god created everything so he created humour as well. It is just more difficult to see in some situations and is always in the eyes of the beholder.

i hope so. i could believe in god if he came across as like a normal guy. maybe god is just some innocent magical ghost that got in way over his head. he can't deal with all the crap going on at once.
