Joe is one of the all time greats in boxing history and at his very best would be too much for Mike. Joe had a great jab and more speed than he is usually given credit for. He was an excellent boxer who really set up his punches well. Tyson is very strong with a hard punch but never faced anyone like the Brown Bomber. Once Louis had you hurt, it was over and this would be the case against Tyson. Joe would shake Mike with a jolting right hand after an exchange of punches in round 7 and would not let up until Mike was on the canvas with the referee tolling the fatal 10 count over him.

Joe louis cant lose in his prime to mike tyson who would get dominated by the hard combinations of the Bronx Bomber, he would get hammered and knocked out by truly the better boxer and opponent. Jou louis would not be afraid like those guys tyson ko'd.

Bro you have to look at it skill wise!

Skill wise both Louis and Tyson were tremendous boxers in their primes but I would have to most definitely give the edge to Mike Tyson, with KO power not only in one hand but both.

Louis was also a great combination puncher just like Mike so I would greatly equal them in that department but power behind those combinations goes to Mike

Defense as well would have to go to Mike with his elusiveness he was able to slip a jab with perfect timing and hit you with a devastating hook.

Louis and Mike both had speed but Mike also had speed with his feet something Louis never really showed in his prime time let alone his whole career, although he was so accurate with his fast combinations he didn't need it. Against Mike he would need it.

I say if Louis can some how avoid Mike onslaught and aggressiveness coming forward with elusiveness and bobbing and weaving he would take Mike into the later rounds. I just don't think Louis can knock Mike out because of Mikes defense and his split second timing counter punching.

Honestly if Louis lands a big combination on Mike and it does nothing don't expect Louis to take Mike out after that, a prime Mike would not only take a punch to deliver a better one but he was a great finisher if not the best in his prime.

Also note that in his prime Mike Tyson had one punch KO power in both hands and was knocking out super heavyweights with one punch!

The minute Louis showed signs of being hurt Mike would for sure finish him. A prime Louis vs a Prime Rocky Marciano would be different because Marciano bleeds/cuts easily and when Louis in his prime he tossed allot of combinations around with accuracy. Not only that but Marciano has always been a one dimensional fighter who was very slow on his feet and relied on his right hand too much. Louis in his prime wouldn't fall for that **** let alone he wouldn't be fighting to just make some quick money to pay off the IRS in which he owed them. It is the reason he took the fight with Marciano even if he didn't want to fight anymore it was a great payday and he desperately needed the money.

Mike Tyson would beat Louis sad to say but you can't say Louis wouldn't come to fight and give a great fight because he would hands down come to fight.

Joe Louis is/was superior to Mike Tyson in every conceivable category of comparison. I am amazed you can actually use both names in the same sentence. Joe Louis's shadow would KO Mike Tyson if it fell on him and the weight of Joe's legacy alone would make Mike quit on his stool.

Joe Louis would break Tyson down and finish him with crisp combinations.

Joe Louis would slaughter him. Tyson was a slugger! Joe Louis was a boxer.
It would be a replay of the Ali - George Foreman fight.

Are you kidding me? If Buster Douglas can KO Tyson with a 3-4 punch combination, Louis would decapitate him with one.
