Sorry Susan, doesn't look good. I would at least call and apologize. Darn and I was hoping to get that boob job at a discount.

There is absolutely no way to put a good spin on this. So I assumed it happen this morning. Its now way after when your interview was. Say if your interview was at 9am or 10am. You should have called within the hour even if you did oversleep, made up something. We know you were lying but at least you called.
Here is my only suggestion, its not great but its worth a try. Show up tomorrow at the time you are suppose to be there today. Be 5 minutes early and say I have an interview with whoever. They will say that was yesterday. Act stupid (not good to act stupid) but I think this is your only shot. Say are you sure I have the 17th at 9am. They will say it was the 16th. Say im so embarrassed I should have called 2 days before to verify. This is completely my mistake and I know how I must look. Ask if the job been filled. If it has apologize again. If it hasnt or they say we have a few canidates, mention how forward you were to this interview and you understand they are busy but you would really love the chance to interview with them as their earliest convenience you will move your schedule to match theirs. Ask if they have anything next week, anytime any day. If they say we will call you, they probably wont. But you might get another one.
If they say yes, leave it at that. You, they and the Doctor knows you are full of crap. If they like you, or you are desperate, they might let it slide. There is always going to be some doubt on both of your parts. It is possible you wrote it down wrong, or they told you wrong.
Im not saying I condone it, but I think its your only shot. Its happend to me many times and actually a few it was my fault or my assistants fault.
Good Luck

This looks very bad. I know as an employer unless I was desperate to hire a new employee quickly, I would not give an applicant the time of day if they missed their interview, unless they can show me (with proof), some damn good reason, like they were in the hospital after a car accident or something.
Good luck.

You can apologize, but you've wasted their time so don't count on a second chance. They will equate your lack of punctuality for an interview as a bad risk for a potential employee..."How many times will she oversleep for work if we hire her?"
Just look for another position and remember to set your alarm next time.

I ususally get one of my staff to send them away. I don't want to waste my time with a person if they can't even respect me or themselves enough to be on time. It makes me think, what are they going to be like as an employee? My pet peeve about work is my staff not being on time, because i always try to make it a point to be early.

If you just didn't show up because you overslept, so you didn't call to let them know you wouldn't be there, then probably not. Sorry.
