Yeah, yeah, I know it's cliche, but I really want to know what people think? FYI, I think its about loving God and neighbor and about providing for family and the needy.

From the first answer: "Anyone who mentions God in their answer is mistaken. God isn't real". I'm curious how he is so sure. Such certainty isn't being completely honest.

True meaning and purpose address the question, what were we put here on earth to do? What is our mission? Obviously, true purpose requires a God.

Those who reject God will answer another question entirely. They answer the question, how do we get through life without being overwhelmed by the pointlessness of it all? They propose various psychological crutches such as keep busy, focus on the positive, do praiseworthy things to inflate the ego. All feel-goodisms.

But if we allow that God may exist, it seems to me that our purpose is to seek Him for He must have put our great need for purpose into our human nature in order to point us to Him.
Seeking God is our sole purpose. Loving our neighbors and our family and the needy will flow from that sole purpose, for where love is, there God is also.

There is no purpose. It's not about anything. You're an animal that developed self-consciousness which lead you to ask the question that every person eventually asks themselves.

Anyone who mentions God in their answer is mistaken. God isn't real. In fact, he was created so people didn't have to worry about what happens after you die. The truth is that nothing happens. You cease to exist. End of story.

None of the above. You are here to experience "eternal aliveness." When you transcend your little learned identity and remember WHAT you love, you have returned to authentic being and reality will synchronize with that purpose. Fini. You better get to work.
