That'd be the nonexistant "it's all in your head" God.

God knows things we do not know, and understands things we do not. "For now we see in a glass, dimly, but then we will see face to face" There are many things God must do that we do not understand, and rules that we do not understand. The Jews (the old testament) did not know why God gave them the rules he did about food, but now, having the scientific knowlege that has come clear to us more recently than what they knew, we understand that some of those rules
simply prevented His people from becoming ill with food
poisoning and dying. He even said in the Bible they might die if they broke these rules, and they would have, of FOOD POISINING. God has to allow things such as earth quakes or volcanic eruptions to happen, even though some people are often killed in these disasters, for the same reason we as humans sometimes need to burp or fart. Pressure must be released, for the greater good. It is better than what would happen if their were no way for the earth to release this pressure (and the earth to shift). Would you want to go through life still having gas sometimes, but never again being able to release any of it?
Also, what you are quoting, (they don't look like quotes, but the words sound like quotes, so I will assume they are meant to be biblical quotes), are from different parts of the bible that do not relate to eachother, and taken out of context. If someone wrote down everything you said, and then pieced parts of quotes together next to eachother, I'm sure it could be made to look like you contradicted yourself a lot too, even if you didn't. For instance, God was talking to different people under much different circumstances here "I will forsake you, the city, your fathers" vs. "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee".

It's time to hear the whole message.
He is wonderful in mercy,
terrible in judgment.........

"Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." "

What sort of God?
Well a perfect powerful earthly force called "Nature."
The Jewish God - Yahweh-God-Jehovah is a ferocious vindictive make believe God. A God that does not abide by his own rules
Exodus chapter 15 verse 3 says; God is a man of War, "The Lord is his name." (the God of all Armies)

Since God cast lucifer out of Heaven, Lucifer has made himself ruler over this planet. So natural disasters and world destruction are not from God, but from the evilone himself... Kind of funny that when bad things happen everyone wants to blame God.... but if it was not for the mistakes that man makes creating things to destroy one another most bad things would not even happen....like guns, bombs, etc.

Oh, Dear!...Someone is depriving a village somewhere of its idiot.

THE EARTHQUAKE IN PERU WAS A NATURAL DISASTER, NOT CAUSED BY GOD.

Shame on the person who donated your brain to science before you were done using it.

My goodness...I thought the "why did God do this" questions were all asked this morning.

God reigns on the just and the unjust. Besides, that tragedy strikes everywhere. No one is immune from it. I am sorry that you feel this way and blame God. God bless....

This just strengthens my belief that God cannot possibly exist. If a god is incapable of keeping his people safe, is that god really worthy of worship and belief? I think not.

If you 're not saved death is a bad thing if you are then it is the next step.
You are presuming too much. God knows what he is doing even if you don't agree.
