when you are so severly paranoid about health and such that it greatly affects your everyday life? What's the name of this?

You didn't give much detail. If I had more detail, I could probably have a better idea.

There are Somatoform Disorders where people imagine physical illnesses; Hypochondria is the most well known type; where somebody interprets minor physical aches and pains as being signs of major illnesses.

Somatization Disorder is where somebody imagines having several illnesses affecting more than one body system at the same time.

Body Dysmorphic DIsorder is where somebody imagines some flaw in their physical appearance that other people can't see.

Facticious Disorder or Munchausen's is where somebody fakes an illness out of the desire to "play the sick role."

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder could include an extreme fear of germs and getting sick.

Somebody could also be depressed or psychotic and have unusual preoccupation with illness.
