Yes, sorry should've made that clear. The earthquake in Peru.

A United Statesian is a citizen of the US of course, it wouldn't be a citizen of Mexico would it?

I thought that happened in Peru....So, they would be South American or Peruvian, not United Statesian, with the exception of the 1 that was actually from the US. And then, also considering he's a legal citizen.....

There will be aid sent from the U.S. to Peru. Loss of life for Ibero-Americans in the nations south of us is just as important. The reason there is not more media coverage of the event on U.S. news channels is the lack of news bureaus in Lima for U.S. networks.

Yes, you can always count on the US and the UK to help out. Many other countries do help in a crises. Help comes from many businesses too not just the governments. Later everyone will help with rebuilding. My personal opinion ... we can't afford it / but we'll still do it.

Well the US has already offered help. I don't know of any other country that has. America always helps.

With regard to the "America" issue, check this question. I asked it a few weeks back.
