Who is your current favorite driver and who was your first favorite?
As for me,I now pull for Carl Edwards and my first favorite was Davey Allison

Back when Nascar was all about the car and driver I was a huge Dale Sr. and Bobby Allison fan. Some of us still remember the WINSTON CUP. I have been a Dale jr fan ever since he started in the bush series I'am also a Carl Edwards fan as well I have raced with him on dirt tracks in mid- mo.

When I first started watching NASCAR, I was a fan of Bill Elliott. I liked Terry LaBonte and Alan Kulwicki as well. When I first started watching, I really did not know much about the sport. I guess Bill Elliott was my favorite at the beginning because he was winning and drove the Bud car. My dad drank Bud, so I guess that is why I picked him. I liked Kelloggs cereal so I liked Terry LaBonte as well. I became a fan of my current favorite driver, Bobby LaBonte, because he won the first live race that I ever attended. It was a Busch race at Bristol Motor Speedway. I picked him to win because I liked his paint scheme, number 44, and the fact that he was "Texas Terry's" little brother. I picked him to win, and he done just that. I also attended the Winston Cup race, the next day. Alan Kulwicki won that race.
I began being a fan of Denny Hamlin, when he came in, last season. Bobby LaBonte will continue to be my favorite driver until the day he retires, then Hamlin will take that position.

Matt Kennseth, but only because Mark Martin is only running a short season, but I still pull for Mark when he is in a race.Since you like Carl (great driver) you should play You pickem,at roushracing.com

My first favorite was Jeff Gordon (I was young). Now I despise him. My next favorite, who I still REALLY like was Tony Stewart. Then there was a small phase when I really liked Casey Atwood, who sucked, he no longer does Nextel, he does Busch now I believe. Then Kurt Busch became my favorite, I still really like him, and seeing him win the championship was awesome!
Then, at the beginning of the 2006 season to now, my favorite driver is Kyle Busch. I know many don't like him, but you cannot deny his talent.

I grew up on Richard Petty. I was into Ernie Irvin till he left due to injury. Now I'm into Tony Stewart. I had a uncle that raced back in the begining of Grand National. Although I was too young to watch him race I read about him and saw some highlites of Gary Lewallen.

Carl Edwards now,Rusty Wallace before he retired.I knew Russ Wallace (Rusty's Dad) years ago.Rusty and Carl are both from near my home town of Rolla Mo. (Rusty went to school in Rolla).

Rusty Wallace has been my first driver since his rookie year. It broke my heart when he retired.
As for now? I love Carl Edwards! He rocks.

I just got into racing last year and I was for Kahne because he was on the bubble. I guess I'm still for him but, I really haven't picked a 'to die for' driver yet. I have picked my DO NOT LIKES--Tony Stewart (the male Danika Patrick---whiner, cry baby) and Jeff Gordon just because that is who my bf likes!!!
