I can find only one breeder in Iowa but the neat thing about this group of breeders is that we know each other and any one here can help you find the rats you want, even if they don't have them themselves.

http://www.altpet.net/rodents/IA.shtml.. I think I noticed another one that answered with that one.. I also saw one recommend petsmart.. AVOID the pet stores like the plague.. EVERY small animal I've had from a pet store (gifts from other people) were sick.. I got them better.. then they'd die after one year or so of some genetic issue or other..
