why do you put her in a box?
Get her blanket or her bed place it in the car on the front seat or let her lay on your lap.
I have a Yorkie, I've been driving with her since she was 7 weeks old. I have taken her on a 10 hour car ride. (frequent stops). She lets me know when she is ready to stop. she'll get really restless and move around a lot.

GOOD LUCK

I took my 10 week old puppy on a 2 hour drive and since I cant drive my parents drove but anyways....I layed a blanket across the whole back seat of the car and put a few toys on it, and then sat back there with my dog. You will have to stop a few times for potty breaks. And I would strongly suggest bringing something like lysol wipes to clean up any accidental messes puppy makes. You also should bring a travel water dish so that he does not get dehydrated. If you can possibly have another person drive you could then sit in back with your babyb and he would probably be much more comfortable! Just dont forget to bring him water!
Hope this helps! also what knid of dog do you have?

My dogs get in the car every time the door is open. We may drive 10 minutes or 10 hours but they would rather go than stay home. Comfort, contact and frequent stops. She'll learn really fast that traveling is fun. My cocker enjoys looking out, he loves the sights, people, animals or just the wind.
Call your vet about a sea sickness pill. Which will help motion sickness and tends to make them sleep.

Some dogs are used to traveling in crates and it is definitely safer in case of a collision.

Enjoy the trip.

When my puppy was about 8 weeks old, I had a 11hour drive. He did just fine and slept almost the whole time.

I put mine in the box that he was used to sleep in (the same box we brought him home in). Put the box on the passanger seat, put a blanket over it (that's how he likes to sleep). If you have a crate/box/basket of some sort that your pup is used to, I think that would alleviate anxiety.

If need be, you can hold the puppy on your lap while driving until the pup calms down.
