I can't speak for Christians. But it wouldn't make a difference to me. The life I was living before Christ isn't something of which I'm proud. So while I don't for a minute believe there is nothing, if that is all - I'm glad I lived it as a Christian. My life has been more joyful and my family more blessed. I won't regret being a Christian for one moment.

Ha! The inverse of Blaise Pascal's famous wager, then?
Obviously, if I come to the end of my life, and there is nothing, I will never know it, will I? I will have ceased to exist, there will be...uh...how did you put it? Oh, yeah...nothing.
Why would I worry about nothing?
On the other hand, what does an atheist think they will say when this life is over....and they are faced with God?
That does seem to be a much deeper issue, to me.

I'm having my drink now...Cherry Pepsi.
Thanks!!

Well, if I were plunged into endless nothingness, I wouldn't be saying much of anything at all, would I? Even at that, I don't feel that my pursuing spiritual development and practicing charity, love, and kindness in the name of my religion would have been a waste of my time here on Earth.

Then I don't have nothing to worry about. However the real question is what happens if you find your self standing at the judgment seat of an Almighty God and he asks you what have you done with my son???

If a "christian" thot that when this life was over there would be NOTHING, he wouldnt be called a "christian".

God says what will and will not be when this life is over, little lady, NOT you. Those who believe Him KNOW that what awaits them is just what He says will be there.

If YOU think that when this life is over there is NOTHING, then what do you call yourself? God calls you LOST.

Christians don't think it will be "...and nothing", so it's hard to say.

I would imagine that if it is nothing I will be saying nothing because I won't exist anymore.

If they answer that they will say anything at all.. or think anything at all, they have failed to grasp the true concept of "nothingness." The only truely possible answer to your question must be that they will be forced to say they are not able to answer because they are dead and therefore they will say, "nothing."
