Has anyone been there? If so, please tell me about your experiences...

What do you know about the "Royal Village Honeymoon Villa Suite"? (It's a Butler Service room.)

We are thinking of going to this Sandals rather than St. Lucia/Antigua because we feel this one is a little smaller, not so party-party, and more luxurious.

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This is where we have booked our honeymoon. I've read wonderful things and horrible things. Not really sure what to excpect. I do know that it's my honeymoon and I'm going to make the best of whatever I am given. We also decided against St. Lucia because of the party scene, and it was also a bit cheaper. Crossing my fingers for a good time!!

Hey...maybe I'll see you there. ha ;)

Have you tried looking at the Super Clubs site?

http://www.superclubs.com

There is something called Super Surprise.

There are two types of plans and you end up saving about 50% of what you would do normally. The Surprise is you don't know which of the resorts in Jamaica you will be going to until one week before you fly out.

Check that out, especially if you are in a tight budget.

There is also a site called http://www.skyauction.com where you can also save a lot of money on. A friend has bought vacations on this site and saved a TON of money. Try searching for Sandals RB on this site. Just be sure to check for any additional costs and stuff before bidding.

Haven't been, but a friend of mine went and said it was amazing. IF you go to their website a chat box might pop up and you can chat with a rep. We decided on Whitehouse for our honeymoon and chatted with a rep. She answered our questions better than the travel agent.

We booked online through their website as well. We got a nice little binder with our tickets, itinerary, luggage tags (paper ones that say sandals) and brochure on "what you need to know" We booked a penthouse concierge. Have fun!

My cousin went to sandals a few weeks ago and said its like a hotel..... she wasnt really impressed for the money spent. She went on a cruise and they stopped there. She said they just got in the pool the whole time.
