Get out and see for yourself! It's full of life.
It's every color of blue you can imagine.
It's temperamental: it can eat you up and spit you out, or let you sail for miles.
You can eat from it, ride on it, swim, dive and explore it.
The last thing you should ever do is not experience it.

It depends on which ocean. The Atlantic in Maryland, Delaware, NJ is not good. Florida is ok. The Carribean is awesome with the sand and crystal clear water. The pacific in Caif. is getting worse and worse but there are some beautiful areas. Mexico and South America is great too.

I'm not really sure what you're referring to, but the ocean is a beautiful and majestic thing.
I suppose those who live near one might find it overrated ... and I guess you should like water to begin with.
I've only seen the ocean once, and I was pretty amazed. It's so vast that it seems to have no end!

The ocean is amazing, here we are sending man to the moon, but we don't know yet what secrets it has to offer. There are giant squid down there, but what other huge fish are swimming there.

If you are referring to beaches in general, then I definitely think they are overrated vacation spots. Cultural and historical travel are my favorites. I hate wasting time on beaches.
