first off great question..
i personally havent been asked out by a black man.. I have flirted with lots.. when i lived in Norcal.. currently in WI... if a man is decent, holds a steady job and treats me with respect then he's worth my time!

We just aren't in the right place at the right time. Like for instance: my friend(puerto rican) said she doesn't date black guys when I asked her out. That made me furious. But I accepted it and looked elsewhere and had better luck. Its very unfair because of the stereotypes about us, who is to say EVERY black guy is the same as the next!? I mean what makes the next race so much different, we all bleed red and we all breathe, what's the difference?

Hmm..
I`m not a woman - but i think that it is because of ,as some have said, stereotypes.
But, to turn the Q around - howcome not many black women seem to be wanting to date a white man?
I think people initially look for a similar partner.
And, many times people don`t want to take the trouble to get to know the other one.

I don't know I mean I am a Black Girl and I like different types of guys it just all depends on how the guy acts and their personality! If a girl says they like you but they don't date Black guys then they arent good enough to be with you anyway!!! Those types of girls are real jerks!!!!
Good Luck!!!!!!!!

You ask a good question, I am a white male, but my ex-wife is black and she left me for another white guy. She told me once she did not like dating black guys, I asked her why and she said:
"They are undependable and they will cheat." This from a woman who then turned around and cheated on me. Not much help, I know, but I do understand your frustration.

Yeah, totally sterotype.Me being black I can understand.I think its because thw whole gansta/thug theme.People see that and think we are all like that. But most of us really aren't.Therefore some woman may be attracted to other races. Its sad, yes, but true.

well i don't know what are people's problems. well sure they will jump to conclusions like thugs, pimps, gangsters, and all of that. but not all black guys are bad. most of them are great like the ones i dated. they shouldn't judge by race they should by character and other stuff like that. well keep ya head up high don't listen to what they say just listen to ya heart.
