I compete in many cook-off's each year and organize and run 2 every year. It takes a lot of work and Dave has the very basic beginnings. You haven't given any of us any info to help you out. Like what type of cook off you're planning, where you are holding it (location), town, time of year, etc. There is a lot of info WE need to give you the most help. As soon as we get that info we can help you much better and more. Good Luck!

Yeah that's fun isn't it!! I am doing the same right now. I have found evite.com is very easy. It lets you invite, ask guest to bring something, poll them about any questions and a lot more other stuff. The best thing about it is it tells you how many people are coming and who are not. After you do that. Then just grab the decor (if you are having any), and anything else you need that guest are bringing and enjoy your day. Hope this helps.

I think Dave said it all. Hey what kind of cook off are you having? Offering any prizes? Maybe something simple and cheap!!!!
