How does moving people around or children hurt them?

By moving, military children are exposed to different cultures and peoples.

Ive never meet a military brat, who didn't love moving around.

I went to 13 different schools in 12 years,

One year ( 7th grade), I lived in memphis tn, mawah NJ and Fort Bliss tx all in the same school year.

The only time their are problems, is when one child is a junior in high school and you move right before their senior year.

But most families try and make some kind of allowance for that, letting the child stay with another family so they can complete their senior year if they want to.

The Army is fine. It has been doing that for years. It works. I grew up fine and more worldly as a result.

The Founding Fathers originally did not want an army because they feared it would be misused against the public. They started with just militias. Then when the Creek Indians began attacking settlers, the militias were called up. The conscripts ran when the Creeks attacked except for the 1 battery of full time soldiers manning the artillery (About 100 total). Those soldiers were full time because infantry and cavalry could be conscripted, but artillery takes too much training. Following that, the Congress learned that a standing army was needed because conscripts could not be relied upon on short notice.

I don't recall our founding fathers speaking against standing armies, and if they did they were foolish and did not anticipate American becoming THE world power 400 years later. I mean, the wisdom of the founding fathers applied to their times, you cannot expect it to last forever.

And by the way, having grown up in a military family I can tell you that moving around causes no problems whatsoever. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the "problem" and discover that their is none.

People move around as a part of their jobs in all types of careers. It makes our overall economy better. Moving military around is a necessity. The military personnel are there to serve the country, not the other way around.

You cheated, by asking two questions. I am not answering the second one.

If it bothers the people that actually do it for a living, they move on.

Never having gotten off the couch you no not of what you speak.

The Founders did not have money to meet the payroll. Hence the 2nd amendment.

It gives lots of families opportunities to see other parts of the country and world that 'normal' families don't get.
