In the summer months I'm always hearing about global warming on the news. Yet in the winter and fall, I don't hear one word on the subject. If it's such a global crisis, why do I only hear about it 3 months out of the year?

We do hear about it in the winter. The global warming fanatics are always trying to hold global warming conferences in the winter, but they are usually cancelled due to large snow storms or extreme cold. Go figure.

Unfortunately most people have heard of global warming through the wrong channels - the media or Al Gore, and are either turned off by the thought or misinformed. If only people would actually read scientific articles...

No you dont, in the winter a blizzard or noreaster may showup, then its called "climate change" since obviously warming is no longer prevalent in the winter. Global warmists have been noticeably absent this summer due to cooler conditions and wetter rhan normal throughout much of the US.

you're confused.

there is talk about global warming in the winter. there are a lot of issues GW causes through the winter months. for example:

hot winter day?
caused by global warming

cold winter day?
caused by global warming

10 feet of snow?
caused by global warming

gain a few pounds after christmas?
caused by global warming

break your new years resolutions?
caused by global warming

the ground hog sees his shadow?
caused by global warming

the ground hog doesn't see his shadow?
caused by global warming

everything slightly abnormal is caused by global warming. that's why there is so much "proof" it's happening.

you question it, and your an unimformed dolt.

You SHOULD be hearing about it in the winter as well. The global warming causes winters to be colder (ironic), and snowier. Global warming causes intense heat in the summer, and and intense cold in the winter. The news may mention something about how there's more snow, because all of the icebergs melted, creating more WATER in the atmosphere (instead of ice), that makes the snow.

hope that helps!

You apparently aren't paying attention. The talk has been all over during the Summer, Winter, even Autumn...

Because it's too cold. Talk about warming when it's below freezing and people will think you were outside a little too long!

It's easier to whine about the heat during the dog days of August..

For the same reason you won't see most libs lead by example. How many mansions does Al Gore have (don't give me the carbon offset argument)? They sit in their ivory towers telling us average joe's that we must completely alter our lives when they are not willing to do the same.
