I have been using Eye Dew Drops for the past 7 years or so, never had any problems but someone told me that they can damage your eyes if being used long term.
Does anyone think there is any truth in this as I am sure the manufactuers would mention it on the labelling?

You dont say why you use them ,are they for dry eyes ? if so you should use artificial tears bought over the counter. But if your dr prescribed them you should ask them.

I havent heard that. Just keep on using your eye drops and the next time you see your doctor ask him/her if there are and what are they. I wouldnt be too worried about it if you havent had any effects in 7 years

Are they a "get the red out" drop? If so, they can make your eyes red and build dependance.

This is a UK drop and I couldn't find ingredients on line. Ask your eye doctor or pharmacist who will have the ingredient list.

Maxidex is a corticosteriod not an antibotic, and should be used under medical supervison, can increase risk of cataracts and eye disease.
