i boil the chicken first. its easy then to tear off the pieces of meat. bon appetit with those tacos!!

I use cold chicken brought to room temp a bit. Then I just tear into it with my hands. That way you can feel the bones and cartilage and pick those out. And you can shred it as you go.

bake, broil or microwave. Cook until juices run clear. Let cool until cool to the touch and begin to remove meat from the bone. You can either use your fingers or a fork, both works well. Once removed from the bone you can shred into smaller pieces if you choose.

I agree with those who say to cook it first but for better flavor, I recommend you season it, wrap it in foil, and bake it until it falls off the bone. Then just remove it from the bone with a fork, shredding as you go.
