You nailed it. People fear what they don't understand. And many don't WANT to understand, they would rather cling to their fear of the unknown.

My favorite is the argument that Christians have closed minds....

People become blind for many reasons. It can be from watching television, from feeding too much off the lives of people in the entertainment business. It can be from drugs or alcohol, maybe the environment that people live in. I think in some cases people are blind simply because they are misinformed. Some purposely turn away because they feel that being a Christian means you must live a perfect life and for a lot of people that's much too hard even to consider (which leads me back to being misinformed). There are a lot of stereotypes about Christianity and about the church itself. But don't be discouraged!! Jesus loves it that you care so much about your fellow man!

Pray for the church. Pray that we keep our minds and our heart focused on pleasing God on an ever increasing sinful world.

truth is light, and what do roaches do in a dark room when you turn the light on???? THEY SCATTER. Truth makes one accountable, and maybe helps one see how wretched and hopeless one truly is without the Lord Jesus Christ. Some folks just don't want to give up their life....they are ignorant of the fact that when they die, where they will go.......all we can do is pray. Oh....and those that need proof, well, what proof do they have that they even exist? They just might be a figment of their own imagination...

I heard YOUR truth and I truly am not mad at you. I am a pagan,. my truth is different from your truth. Yours is true for you, can you accept the fact that your truth is not an absolute truth of the Universe? That is isn't true for others?

I think that if you could do that, you would find that people wouldn't be getting mad at you for expressing your truth bc you would be acknowledging the truth of all.

To this, will you say that your truth is THE ONLY truth? If so, perhaps you might consider that this is why people get mad.

The sooner you accept the fact that others can disagree with you, the calmer and happier you will be!

Well if you are saying that no wonder why. You are lying to them.

Only my God is the true God and only by accepting my way as it's prophet will you be spared oblivion. Why do you keep believing and spreading these lies about Jesus? You will be obliterated as if you never existed. Submit to me and belief as I belief or you will suffer the ultimate destruction of the void. Even your Jesus recanted and accepted my God as he was on the cross. Repent and worship my God! I say this for your own good. I wish you to join with the creator after death instead of being cast into nothingness. Can't you see how I care by trying to get you to remove the scales from your eyes?

God is the one who opens eyes and removes the scales so that the lost can be set free. We need to pray and interceed that God's will be done.

The truth isn't always as obvious as some would like to think.

That is the truth as you see. I require logic and proof. Have any of that lying around?
