It seems like many believers spend their lives running from the devil, fully believing he exists just to yank them off their path to Jesus. Everything bad that happens, is attributed to Satan. I wonder, is it because they believe in a devil that he seems to hunt Christians? I don't hear of demonic activity happening to non-believers very much. The devil seems to focus his time and energy on terrorizing believers. What if it's the very belief in a devil that is causing people to hallucinate demonic activity?

Go to a grave yard at night, Invoke Belial and beezelbub make a small incision in one of your fingers and mix the blood with your spit and draw a pentagram on a tombstone of your choice and say out load that you laugh at demons because they are not real!
Then come back here and tell me nothing happened!

Why would the devil hunt those he already has? Never troubled me when I was sitting on my bar stool. Still, even with demonic activity; you have a valid point.

Even though this is Satan's Eden; uncorrected human nature always blames others. The serpent beguiled me, the woman made me do it, it wasn't me! Now the devil is not omnipresent; but listening to many Christians, you would think so.

What is true is that people operate on satanic principals by rejecting God's authority. To quote Jesus in Matt. 12:35: "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. Nor do many Christians like to dwell on Matt. 12: 43,45. It says those who were cleaned up can make room for the demonic spirit that left, plus seven others.

Many Chrisitians believe that all negative events on earth are assigned to the devil and also believe that nothing happens to them by chance. I think there is such a place, called God's perfect will, but few live there.

One must recall that time and chance, by Scripture, happens to all. God's rain falls on the just and the unjust; and we are being judged by words (free will) and will be judged by those same words hereafter. (perfect justice).

When you're playing a sport -- football, say -- you wouldn't tackle your own quarterback would you? NO! In the same way, the Devil doesn't have to worry about those who don't "know any better," so to speak. He has to worry about those who have a relationship with God and are on the other side of the spiritual battle. He tries to tempt and pose roadblocks to believers so they'll give up on God and strengthen his forces. However, I would recommend taking Job's approach when faced with obstacles, hardships, etc. Do not curse God, keep the faith, and you will make it through.

ok, I will answer this, but PLEASE see this is NOT a put down, assumption or what ever you want to call it.... I am ONLY answering from MY Christian perspective... OK ??
satans' job is to *try* to get our focus off God on on worldly things, and it works a lot of times too, even for me.... I nor anyone is perfect, none of us have perfect focus, though we try to........ and no , non-believers do not speak of demons, and that is because they do not believe in them.. that simple.......... A *true* Christian does NOT run from demons, we stand up to them through Jesus...... As believers we are given the power to defeat him, though few use it, or even realize they have it !!!! Many do, as you say, run from him (satan) because they fear him more than they believe God....... sad but a fact............ hope this helps....... God bless

THE DEVIL DOES BOTHER CHRISTIANS TO GET THEM TO TURN FROM GOD.I THINK HE DOESN'T BOTHER THE SINNERS BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SAVED SO HE HAS THEM ALL TO HIS SELF.
