I'm positive I'm not going to hell. I believe in Jesus, who is God, that He died for my sins and rose again.
If you don't believe that and reject it to your dying breath, you are going to eternal hell, and not by my judgement. By His.

WOAH! I on no account knew this! Gee, i could extra perfect pass concentration on that good away!! i latterly had some Christians come over some week in the past, attempting to get me to connect their church. It, of direction, ended up as a delightful argument (different than the pastor grow to be... in simple terms positioned performing like an ***hollow) over faith. the element is, in the past they knew i grow to be Buddhist (and have already study the Bible cover to cover---i used to be a non secular Christian) that they had me examining exerpts approximately human beings going to hell in the event that they don't have faith in Christ's observe, yet human beings can dodge this with the help of employing believing in him. that is no longer basic to describe the way they did it, even with the incontrovertible fact that... the essential actuality is that it grow to be a scare-tactic, and that i does no longer be suprised if it works for many human beings obtainable.

I understand what your saying. And agree with it partially. Many people judge incorrect. We can judge IF we have all the facts. If we know all the sides to the story. If we allow the accused to speak. God says we can judge fairly and justly because that is how He judges us. You also have to understand that there some people out there have the right to judge others. When we are judged (fairly) we end up hearing the truth about ourselves. It's hard to hear the truth. We either ignore it, get angry or heed the word and change ourselves.
I honestly have no idea where I will live for eternity. I pray and hope it's Heaven. I think I'll be in Purgatory for a long time before I can gain entrance to Heaven. If I end up in hell, honestly I'll understand and have to deal with it.

You're right, it isn't our job to judge. A true Christian will love a non-believer thus showing them that Jesus loves them too. There are a lot of hypocrites that call themselves Christians, and up until a few yrs ago when I was fighting a drug addiction they were the reason I wanted nothing to do with Christianity. The right Christian came into my life and showed me the error of my ways in a very loving manner, and I have never regretted my decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior. I would like others to know the love I feel now but I would never make a judgement about them that I have no right to make. We are all sinners trying to find our way, and Christ is the way, I have to believe that because he saved my life when I was absolutely hopeless.

Getting a feeling of joy from putting others down is a serious warning sign that someone lacks self-esteem and self-respect, much less a respect for others. It's narcissism — they have to put someone down in order to feel better about themselves.
Unfortunately, this gets carried over into the realm of religion time and time again, and there are scores of narcissistic Christians who not only get off on telling others that they are going to hell, but also on bad-mouthing, being full of rage, and self-righteous.
Sounds like your question is more of an observation and a rhetorical point to be careful not to judge others. To that I agree with you 100%.
What can we do about it?
I ask them to pray for those people whom they can't stand and would love to go to hell. It is impossible to earnestly ask for someone to come to know the love of God, and also get a kick out of saying that they'll go to hell. There's conflict there. And unless the judger goes through that conflict, they should be very wary of their standing in God.
Lastly, anger and smugness are common traits tied in with people who enjoy telling others they are going to hell. This is in high contrast with the Apostle Paul who, with tears and a broken heart, wished that he could damn himself so that others could be saved.

I'm not trying to be hateful, but are you sure we should never judge?
Have you considered:
1 Corinthians 6:1-6 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? (2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (4) If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. (5) I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? (6) But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
Is the Bible contradicting itself here, or is it quite possible that there are different kinds of judging and different motives for judging. So, what is the difference between this passage and Matthew 7? If you read the rest of Matthew 7, it looks to me that we are not to judge with a purpose of looking down on others. When I share that people are in danger of Hell, I don't look down on them. I was once there too. If nobody shared with me, I would be toast. I'm REALLY glad someone shared with me.
What about the apostle Paul? What is he doing here when he says that people are teaching a different gospel than the one of total grace that he preached? Looks like judging, right?
Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: (7) Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. (8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
It's not my goal to put down others. It is important that we teach and make disciples though. Jesus told us to do that in Matthew 28:19-20. There are lots of places in the Bible where the apostles warn about going to Hell if we don't believe in the true Jesus and accept his free gift of forgiveness.
And yes - the Bible says we can know for sure if we are going to Heaven or not and is clear on how to get there. Check out www.godlovestheworld.com

You really ask some of the best questions. Your right that is how we should be living our lives. That is why i am part of the reilgion i am they don't teach hate and that all others will spend eternity in hell. I just cannot bring myself to join a church or group that teaches hate and spreads it. Because that is not what religion teaches.

Christians use "you're going to hell" the same as they use all of their other hypocritical tales.
For the majority it is do how I say do and not as i do.
My readings of the Bible portray Jesus as a gentle man who loved every one.
Those who strive to be in his image should be the very last people to condemn others. Yet over and over again those that proclaim to be christians are the ones repeatedly spewing hate.
Whatever happened to their own teachings of Love thy neighbor as thyself???? Or does that not include people who are different or opposed in any way to what you believe?

Being pure and not sinning brings you closer to God, doing sin drives you farther away. This is the basic belief. If you feel lost, you probably are. Only you can stand before God.
