A Healthy weight loss ranges from 1-2lbs per week. 7 lbs per week is scary weight loss- it could result in loss of muscle mass.
So that is not a good number.

Depends on what you weigh now. Walking is great exercise for helping your diet to get the weight off. You have about four 1/2 months, and should lose up to 2 pounds per week on a sensible diet - chicken, fish, veggie burgers, limit potatoes, pasta & bread, beef, have 5 fruits/veggies a day, 6 glasses water, 3 can be sugar free/caffeine free soft drinks, coffee, tea. You could lose 4-5 the first week. If you're not already on a sensible diet, but start July 19, by December 1 you could lose 5 + (19x2) = 43 lbs. Probably 3 pant sizes. Good luck.

Are you eating a balanced diet that included veggies, fruits, water, etc? If this is the case you should be fine.
You may want to focus on your health more so than how much weight your loose per day. You need to know that sugar, junk food, and fast food are not your friends when it come to being fit or healthy(being fit means you will be at your ideal weight). Too much of these thing will lead to a very unhealthy you.
Balance is the key to life; eating only convenient and processed food often containing growth hormones, preservatives, additives and seasons like MSG (see http://stayinformed.info/about/aboutmsg.htm why you should stay away from wheat (gluten), MSG and other foods that causes obesity and hypertension) may lead to weight gain, obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other diseases.
Here are a few suggestions to becoming lean and fit:
Substitute your sugar drinks such as sodas and juices for water, organic decaf green or ginger tea. Drink 30 minutes before or after each meal (see http://stayinformed.info/health/healthideas/suggareffects76.htm ).
When eating, help the digestive process. Take your time and chew your food 3 to 4 times longer than usually take ( break it down to almost a liquid). This will aid in the digestive process. Add fiber and substitute some daily choices like (fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meats) with organic selection. The organic foods do not contain the growth hormones, MSG, preservatives, gluten, and artificial flavoring may lead to weight gain.
Keep doing the exercise and make sure you have a balanced meal.
This will help you to day tomorrow and for the rest of your life.

Assuming you could somehow lose 1 pound per day then that would amount to 7 pounds per week. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. 1 pound a day is extremely unhealthy.
Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

i don't think it's unhealthy. only because on celebrity fit club, they're told to lose 4-8lbs a week. as long as you're not starving yourself or anything like that, it's healthy. best of luck! =)
