Me personally I can't tell the difference either. I think the only difference is the glass. So if you want more...go for the Long Island. Get your money's worth!

Long Island has a lot of alcohol in it, but it is still sweet like regular iced tea, if you use you taste buds good enough, you could taste the alcohol or smell it! You'll know after you drink it, because you will be a little tipsy! Drink 2-3 and you will be outright drunk!

Long Island Ice Tea is NOT ice tea at all! It's Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Triple Sec, a splash of coke and sour mix. It doesn't taste like ice tea. You will know the difference.

I don't think you could mistake one for the other, honestly. Long Island Iced tea just tastes like a mix of liquers with a slightly bitter after taste, like tea.

Drink about 4 or 5 of them. If you can make it to the door without stumbling it's just regular Ice Tea.

Just take a sip. You'll definitely taste the alcohol if it's a long island tea.

A long island is 9-12 shots of alcohol with coke added for color. (coke equals maybe a .25 ounce)
Iced tea is tea
If you can't smell alcohol it's tea
If your nostrils feel like they are on fire after a sniff it's a long island.
