I have Astigmatism, Short Sighted and a squint can I still get conact Lenses?

My squint is very very slight, I dont squint my eye, but it has a funny turn that I can controll, and I thought that was a squint, as thats wat I had 2 hav glasses for wen they realised I needed them!!!

of course you can get contacts-but the reason why glasses can better then lenses is that -depending on the type of squint you have- glasses can help to control the squint or prevent that it becomes manifest (visible for other people). generally you can use contacts because of visual benefits but it won't have any effects on your squint.

only issue that might arise in getting them in.. talk with the eye doc.. he can cover the short-sighted and astigmatisim .. as for the squint he can offer advice

Ask your optometrist! But my guess is your squint will disappear with contacts. You may have what's called dry-eyes. I use Restasis [prescription] and Refresh Plus [otc] for it.

I say you talk to the optometrist about it. When you go get your eye exam they should tell you whether they think you are a good candidate for contact lenses.

once u get ur contacts u wont have to squit b/c u will be able to see! u will have no need to squit-it is habit forming and isent good for ur eyes sight-squit is focusing on something-u ownt need to squit at all! they r great
