If you were told before you had a child that he or she would not accept God, and would ignore what you teach them, would you still have a child in the first place?

For those of you that don't "like" the question, and therefore did not answer according to what was ASKED, please do not answer my question next time. When I ask something, there is ALWAYS reasoning behind it. Being criticized for the legitimacy behind my questions is NOT EVER the purpose. If you don't like the question, don't answer. Quite simple, in my opinion.

Sure. I would just teach all the stuff I don't believe, and he would turn out OK.

i can't imagine how to answer this, since it is not a decision anyone will ever have to make. All of God's children have the ability to accept him. If you told me that I would have to give them up to atheists, i would still have them. But as far as knowing 100% that they would be non-believers, it can't be done.

Yes, because I know that the person who told me could not possibly know such a thing, and there are plenty of lying spirits running around loose.

I believe that someone in the Bible was told that very thing...oh who was it?

I want to say that it was jacob and easau's mom, she was told that about easau...I may be wrong, but I remember reading and discussing that once. Well, anyway she raised him and taught him about God anyway, so I would do the same.

If I was just told that, than I would have the child.
If God proved it true, then I would not.

First of all that's a bogus scenario that doesn't exist in the Bible. We raise up our children to know Him, and they won't depart, says the Word.

Anyway be fruitful and multiply, and forget these stupid thoughts. A birth of a child is always a joyous occasion.

I would ask you "who are you to know such things?" and if you didn't sprout glowing wings I wouldn't find you too credible...
