I Have a boyfriend at the current time he is locked up for fighting (not nothing to do with drugs) anyway I he has been locked up for awhile, and I have been kind of lonely. So the other day I went out with a guy who I have been talking to for a couple of months. I haven't kissed him or anything we talk every night and we hug sometimes when we see each other. Is this cheating?

You don't have to kiss someone to cheat. You can cheat with your heart. If you have feelings for this other guy, then you are cheating in your heart and should figure out what you want to do next. Having feelings for two guys at the same time is cheating, most definately. Good luck!

no. well it's kind of emotionally cheating if you have strong feelings for him, even if you haven't done anything physical. but you're not doing anything wrong at all. just make the guy aware that you do have a boyfriend, and that what you have with him is just a friendship

If your bf is in jail----you may need to move on--he has something bad going on. Its not your fault that he is locked up..if you meet a new guy, I would tell your old boyfriend how you feel and move on with new guy. Dont feel guilty about cheating----break it off with old beau.

your connecting with him emotionally which thats what u should be doing with your boyfriends but i understand u can't since hes locked up mmm iono most people would consider it because theres 2 levels in a relationship physical and emotional

If you wouldn't tell your boyfriend about this guy or feel like you should hide your friendship, you're cheating. If you're open with your boyfriend about it and he's ok with it, you're in the clear.

it's not cheating but when your boyfirend comes out ... be honest with him... because hidding it would make you feel uncomfortable... and he would found out anyway and it will look worst than it is !
