The terrorists that think they are muslims are misinterpretting the Qur'An, one of the things I have been taught is that if my neighbor is starving to feed him, even if he is jewish or christian. I am a muslim, and true muslims believe in peace for all mankind, not the killing of innocent civilians. I wish the news channels would show a program that explains islam, to those who want the truth. Fox is by far the worst and should be taken off the air, it is hurtful for people to think we are horrible people when the majority of us are against terrorism!

The reality is that it matters not a bit what the media says about Islam or what non-muslims think about Islam. What matters is what so-called moderate, mainstream, allegedly peaceful muslims say and do about those who go around murdering others in the name of the Islamic God.
Now, if Islam is truly a religion of peace, then where are the leaders of Islam (especially those outside the United States) who should be standing on the Minarets shouting to the world that the actions of 'extremists' are condemned? It simply doesn't happen, anywhere, ever, with any significant voice.
And even in America, a recent poll found that some 30% of American muslim males between 18-30 support the concept of suicide attacks. That's potentially 300,000 suicide bombers in the US alone. So tell us all why anyone should believe that Islam is peaceful.
If Islam is to prove itself a 'religion of peace', and it is incumbent upon Islam to do so if that's how Islam wishes to project itself, it has to start from mouths of Imams in every Mosque in every corner of the world.
The evidence to the contrary is simply too overwhelming to ignore, or to accept the statements of apologists. There's too much at risk.
Words, at this point mean little....concrete action to prove Islam is peaceful is need from every corner of the Islamic world. Nothing less will suffice. Nothing.

The great thing about the American educational system is that the farther along you go, the better we're taught to be able to spot bias and adjust accordingly. For some of us, that training starts as early as second or third grade, and continues through graduate school. The people I worry about are those who've ended their education "early" or didn't have the benefit of that education at all. There's no telling what nonsense they'll believe--and in their case, Fox News Channel is the least of my worries.

I personally don't know anything about Islam, except what I have read here! and, they seem to want to share what they believe, just like we all do!
Now, as for the media, and since "Faith' above me brought it up! I wouldn't believe Fox news, if they said it was daylight, and it was! Republicans lie! Look at Bush! And on Fox, unfair and unbalanced, no one, except them, is entitled to an opinion!

FOX News is like G. Bush's personal opinion channel. But the more they alienate us, the more distance they put between us and them, the farther apart we'll be. They are widening the chasm between us, which is fine with me, because I am not khufar, and do not associate myself with khufar, the haram habits and customs of khufar, or the goals of khufar. I'm like the Hebrew National hotdog commercial-"We hold ourselves to a higher standard".

Personally I think American liberal media are too concerned with making friends, not offending anyone, and upping their ratings to care about telling the truth about much.
I do not have to rely on liberal media, there are enough Islamic Imams, Taliban, and Al-Quaida mouthpieces out there telling us what they REALLY think, who they REALLY are, and what their REAL agenda is.
Read The Qu'ran it tells the faithful & mankind:
#1 The total decimation & obliteration of all things Israel/American.
#2 Islam being the only political power allowed on the earth.
#3 Any who do not become Islamic Muslims are to be killed.

I don't believe CNN and FOX as my only source on ANY subject. They're both owned by multi billionaires that aren't interested in people. They only care about money and power.
My rejection of Islam is due to my belief in Jesus, who is God, and His salvation as the only way to heaven and out of hell, as the Bible says.

It is owned by Rupert Murdoch.

I don't really watch either one, so really most of my info has come from muslims who post online. I guess aljazeera's helped too by broadcasting videos from muslims that I've seen back when I did watch TV news.
