Jesus died for the sins of all mankind so at the moment of conception your name is put into the book of life. When one, of their of free will, rejects God's way to eternal life than they are responsible for removing their own name from that book.

As for me, my name is written in blood. How about you?

Your name is not put in the book of life at conception. It's put in there when you believe that Christ is God and he resurrected from the dead. So your name is not removed if you reject God's ways because it was never in there in the first place.
And just where is your name written in blood - no mention of blood with regard to the book of life.

You are wise and Tks for asking.

There once was a time not long ago that I doubted if my name was written there in the 'Precious Book of Life",

And I doubted He'd ever be able to Love me enough to be there,
and Whether I could ever Love Him enough to be in the Eternal book of Eternal life.

And I was so scared and always afraid I'd never make it,

But one day as a revelation, He told me I could never be snatched out of His hands.

...And my life was made free-er.

He Who the Son sets free is free indeed.

I accept Jesus Christ and I am reminded everyday that he died for our sins.

My name is on the book of life.

I believe there are two different books, "the Lambs book of life" and the "book of life" .. I believe when everyone is born their name is written in the book of life. When someone is saved their name is written in the "lamb's book of life, never to be blotted out. But, if and when the time comes that you have rejected Christ, your name will be blotted out of the book of life, as if you never existed.

The Logistics of how we get our names in the book (to me) is not as relevant as knowing,.... really knowing.....that your name is in there.

I know that Jesus died for all mankind, however I dont know that everyones name is there at conception. I mean the idea of the Biblical narritive is to help us to understand, but I'm not so sure about the actual mechanics of the process ( based on the fact Gods thoughts and ways are so much more vastly different from our thoughts and ways).

In my days of backsliding and unrepentance the devil tried to make me to believe that I was unworthy of the salvation I had recieved in 1979. In truth he tried to make me believe that i had lost my salvation. (what a dope, ...the devil i mean.... well me too I guess but moving right a long....) But I testify to you this, I now am reminded daily by the Holy Spirit that I am accounted for in the "Lambs Book of Life" by that still small voice that says "I know it is, because I wrote it there, Myself".

What is so amaizing to me is that untill I get there, untill we all get there, no one knows what that name is but Jesus, because He has a new name for us, a name that only He knows, A name that He has chosen for us, and a Place prepared for us by His own hand..... Halehlujah!!!!

MAKES ME TREMBLE JUST TO THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT REALLY LOVES US!!!!!!! AMEN

God bless

I will appear a hypocrite if I would say that my name is written in permanent ink, wouldn't I? So I would rather choose to say that my name is originally written in pencil lead, but as years pass and as my faith grows stronger, my name is being written also darker and darker than before.
