You make the assumption that Christians do not think about our faith.
I'll simply speak from my own denomination, United Methodist. Our traditions come from the Anglican, which spring from Roman Catholic, and were strongly influenced by an 18th century scholar and Anglican, John Wesley.
Wesley taught about the "quadrilateral", in which we look at four different things in examining our faith. These are: Reason, Experience, Scripture and Tradition.
When we find that one or more of these is out of sync with the others, it tells us that we need to find the reason for the conflict and try to solve it.
We've realized that while scripture is inerrant, our understanding of scripture most certainly is not, and history has taught us that we have misunderstood scripture many times in the past.
Different people have different levels of understanding, especially of this concept. For many of us, the experience of God in our lives is so powerful that we have difficulty understanding how you (as a non-religious person) cannot feel it.
However, as a former agnostic, I know from personal experience that many do not.
As a return question, I would point out that although I have met a number of Christians that can be very pushy about their beliefs, but I see far more that are working to help hungry children (Christian Children's Fund), helping the poor and homeless (Salvation Army, St Vincent dePaul), working on problems of world health (United Methodist Committee on Relief, Lutheran World Services, Catholic Community Services), working for understanding and community (National Council of Churches, World Council of Churches) and generally trying to make the world a better place for everyone, not just Christians.
So, what made you so hateful against us?

We are mindless?? It is you that has no mind. You think that once you are dead that it, there is no after life. As for the sheep part at lease they produce wool for us. You the only thing you do it pollute the oxygen with your hot air.
Be careful before you judge!

How sad you feel you have to ridicule someone's elses beliefs just because they aren't your own.
Even a "mindless sheep" hears his shepherd when he calls. i pray he calls you and you answer someday.

Atheism is not a term meaning 'mentally superior'; a religious friend of mine once said one of the reasons he remained christian not atheist was because atheists were seemingly so 'stupid and offensive, they never seem to be able to enter into debate without personally abusing their opponent'

It is hard for Christians as they cannever prove the existence of god, can they? Their only proof is the weakest form that "they know".
If they are happy and don't hurt anyone else, live and let live!
