its ok about the catagory, Yahoo has that super annoying thing where you are browsing a question in food, you think up a question for skin and body, and yahoo automatically puts it in food! i've done that so many times its not funny anymore

This definitely sounds like asthma. Exercise will set it off. It will cause an involuntary coughing response because your body is not getting enough oxygen through your airway so it thinks there is something blocking the airway and attempts to cough it out. You must call your doctor ASAP and mention this episode and try to be evaluated for asthma. He will probably give you an inhaler which you must use. It may make you better in the long run and there is a good chance you will be able to get off it eventually. Meanwhille at least you will be able to exercise effectively without coughing fits or lack of air!

I think it's a mental thing. If you think too much about something, you'll have side effects. So just relax and keep your mind off it.
