I have tried all kinds of shampoos from head-n-shoulders to $15 dollar "RUSK" shampoo, and oils. Should I just completly go bald?

any coaltar shampoo should be a help to you but dont use it more than once a week or your hair will become brittle and then you wont have to worry about hair at all!

Hi!

The shampoos that have been referred to you so far are spot on, so I'd just like to add that how often you wash your hair matters every bit as much as what you wash it with. First, discover which type of hair you have... Oily, dry, normal, then buy the requisite shampoo, *and* it's companion conditioner. Wash and condition your hair every third day, so you give your hair a chance to maintain it's natural oils. Do not massage the conditioner into your scalp, only apply it on the middle and end lengths of your hair. Brush your hair thoroughly twice a day when it is dry, to massage your scalp, and loosen it's oils. When brushing, start at the ends of your hair and work gradually toward your scalp. Alternate between shampoo and conditioner systems every other month. I would start with Neutrogena and then go to Selsun Blue, and back to Neutrogena, etc... If you have chronic dry scalp rather than dandruff or seborrhea, then alternate between the Selsun Blue and a quality normal shampoo and conditioner set, like George Worthington's line, which you can find at most Walgreens stores. This time though, use the Selsun Blue only one or twice a month. Hope things clear up for you soon!

it could be something other than dandruff, i'd go see a dermatologist to see if they can recommend something stronger or more properly suited to your condition

well neutrogena has some good stuff... it looks scary cuz it's all brown and stuff, but try that.
