I need quick and easy afterschool snacks for 2 four year olds and a 7 year old.
We're not health freaks so all suggestions welcome (no sodas and no straight candy)
It can be something I can prepare while they're at school, or something the kids can help make, anything at all! I need a good variety, one of their favorite lines is "But we had that yessstterrddaaay!" :-) Thanks!

jello, half of a sandwich, chips, chips and salsa, pudding, yogurt, applesauce, cookies and milk, juice, grapes, bagels, banannas...I love using fruits...the original fast food and it just happens to be healthy. Snack crackers...such as cheese and peanut butter...breadsticks and cheese....I hope these help. I have been doing my own daycare and these work great...come up with about 14 different ideas and you can have something different everyday for about two weeks. Another idea is watch your local school lunch menu and you can come up with all kinds of ideas. Most of all many are nutritious and cheap.

Mini Pizza - An English Muffin with sauce and cheese on it heated up for 2-3 minutes in the oven.

Funny Fruit Sald - Take 1/2 of a banana and put it in a bowl. Cut up all kinds of fruit and sprinkle it over the banana. Then you can add a yogurt on top.

Cinnomon Buns - When it is a cold winter day take the Pillsberry Cinnomon Buns. Then let the kids frost them themselves when the arrive.

You can make cookies healthier by using whole wheat flour, and using half Splenda and half sugar. I did this for my son's b-day cake and it turned out great. Also, get some fruit leather and get out your cookie cutters and let them cut out the shapes. Jello jigglers (I think the amount of water to use is on the box somewhere). Also the same idea, let them cut out the shapes. Fruit cups, Quaker granola bars (Costco has 48 of the assorted for like $10), and they are low-fat.

I wanted to add that if you go to www.lakesidecollections, they have the Rachel Ray 30 minute kids meals book for less than $8. My sister got it for me last year for Christmas.
