It was prophesied in Isaiah, Ephesians, Ezekiel, Daniel, Thessalonians, John, and Revelation thousands of years ago, that in the last days there will be those churches and other religious legalistic, organizations that will break away from the teachings of Jesus Christ and the laws of Almighty God recorded in The Holy Bible to become the "apostate churches that the Anti-Christ will head up & the false prophet will govern during The Great Tribulation.
Sanctioning and approving homosexuality membership and approving and inducting their homosexual membership (male and female) alike into offices of ministry and leadership.
Sanctioning and/or approving and condoning abortion, premarital sex, adultery, sodomy, incest, within their membership and through their ministries.
Sanctioning and approving and ministries that say Almighty God of The Holy Bible and Allah, the moon god of Islam, Buddha, etc. etc. are one and the same.
Preaching that contrary to what Jesus and The Holy Bible teach us, that no one will go to Hell, that all will go to Heaven or that eternity in The Lake Of Fire is not real or true.

Accepting and condoning are two different things. He "accepted prostitutes" but I don't think he would have advocated living that way. The homosexual issue: leaving aside being judgemental; it is basically an unhealthy practice. Two people of the same sex can indeed love each other - that doesn't mean it has to involve genitals.

Because it allows individual congregations to decide if performing gay marriages and gay ministers is right for its own congregation. I think something like 80% perform gay marriages.
Sounds like they are following the teachings of Christ to love thy neighbor as you would love yourself.

They are Christians that follow the commandments of Christ.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Those that wouldn't do the same should consider that Jesus said, "What you do to the least of these you do also to me."

Because they understand what love and tolerance means. They understand that if God made them the way they are, who are humans to judge?
