My boyfriend works outside all day here in Nevada and it is really hot and he sweats between his butt cheeks and gets a really bad rash or sore all along his crack. (Sorry for the detail) I am just looking to find something to help him so he doesn't have to be in such pain. Please no rude comments. Thanks everyone!

I would say gold bond powder or a baby diaper rash cream. In my view, the baby diaper rash cream works faster and better, but if the skin is raw, it will burn like crazy. Once you get over the burn, the heal up time is pretty quick.

The powder works, but slower. After he gets the situation under control, he should use the powder everyday as a preventative, and to keep things dry down there. He may even have to reapply though out the day.

And as always, he should wear cotton undies and breathable fabrics, as not to trap the sweat.

Well first of all, he needs to make sure never to go to bed without showering and using a good cleansing soap and drying completely. He should also use Gold Bond Powder. If he does both of these things and it is still a problem, then his best option is going to be diaper rash lotion which has zinc in it. I know he won't be happy with that, but only you two have to know about it. It will provide a moisture barrier and a barrier against the organisms that cause the problem.

My dad does a/c on all the casinos in Vegas, it gets to be like a 130 on top of the roofs, he has the same problem with chaffing on his legs and stuff. Powder and lots of it. It will absorb the sweat, have it pile it on in the a.m and then as soon as he gets home shower up and put some more on. Any brand will work but I know gold bonds works well.

gold bond medicated baby powder works well. There is also a product you can buy from online shops like "dennis kirk" or J&P cycle. It sounds weird, but it's called "monkey butt", when you stop laughing (LOL) check it out, it's designed for motorcycle riders who get heat rash etc on long rides.

Hi, my boyfriend and I have a lot of problems with chafing when we ride motorcycles. The most effective things we have used are baby powder (but it wears off easily), Monkey butt powder, or Monistat's chafing relief powder gel.

Good Luck!

Baby Powder will dry up the moisture and wear cotton underwear. It lets the air through.

Try gold bond powder. Have him apply it to his crack before he leaves the house in the morning.

It happens to a lot of men, just tell him to be clean and wash better because sometimes the heat makes you sweat and dirt can go into those parts and make it sore.
