Move on its just going to bring you pain and anguish. Its not worth it. There are other people out there. Seriously.

What are your motives for still wanting to be friends with him? Are you hoping to rekindle the romantic relationship? Is he still seeing the other girl?

Of course it's not too late to talk to him. You don't need a reason or an excuse. Give him a call or send him an e-mail and just say, "hey, it's been awhile, how are you doing?"

Just be ready for any outcome and don't have any expectations about what might happen. He may have been thinking about you all this time also, and just have felt like too much of a cad to contact you. Or, he may not have thought about you at all and may be perfectly happy having a life without you in it. There's no way to tell unless you talk to him.

Best of luck whatever you decide to do. :-)

Whether it's too late or not remains to be seen. If he isn't dating anyone....call him up! If you don't know whether he's dating someone or not...you could call him anyway...just to say hello...and find out.
You sound a bit insecure though.....you need to be strong and learn to like yourself more. Become the person you've always wanted to be....then he will come running after you!

Hun, I say this in all kindness, leave him in your past and move on. He doesn't sound like he was that into you and the "parents getting a divorce" was just a convenient excuse for him to bail.

Sounds way too late, but you should approach him and maybe ask if he'd like to get a soda somewhere & just talk about things.
