wedding on the beach in on tropic island

2007-08-16 07:45:08 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

Getting married at a beach resort in VA with the sun setting in the backround cause it is on the bay side. They have a bar down on the beach which is where we will have a late dinner and dance the night away with fire works going off at 2 to signal the end of our party, and the start of our lives.

Small though, at most 150 guest, and only a maid of honor best man and our siblings in the wedding party. Having it in mid-september so it's not too hot

Or my dad said he would give me 10K to elope - better deal in my mind. Cost him more money, but he hates social events

we went away and got married on a Wednesday with two good friends. On the Saturday we had a lovely meal with 20 close family and at night had a reception with about 200 people all together. All with little stress and 10 years later still together and would not have changed anything about our wedding.

my wife and I had a pretty good wedding. We had around 70 guests, it took place in our church, we had a catered reception, music, everything. We took the time to make the programs, invites, favors, etc. ourselves.

We had a lot of compliments on everything. We went over the top ordering a total of 250 slices of cake....but everyone had plenty. We decorated the church ourselves, hiring just the equipment and setting it up exactly how we wanted it. I created a photo slide show to music for the wedding service intro.

All in all everyone had a great time, plenty cake, and a great amount of food, no one left hungry :D

Before we got engaged, my fiance asked me what kind of wedding I would want, and my first reaction was a fun one! For me (a woman), I want our close friends and family there (90 to 100 people all told), a formal, but not poufy dress, a short, simple ceremony, a good meal, great music, dancing. I really want everyone to have fun. When people talk about our wedding years from now, I want them to say "wasn't that fun?!" way more than I want them to say "wasn't that extravagant?!" or--more importantly--"wasn't that tacky?!" I think my fiance would answer this question by saying he also wants a fun wedding, but he wants a weddign that he doesn't have to stress about and doesn't have to make too many decisions about; he pretty much just wants it to happen.

Sometimes the wedding is more perfect than the marriage itself ..
Whisked here & there by limo..the celebration after..romantic hotel suite..champagne for two in a cozy piano bar..The perfect wedding doesn't always mean a perfect marriage .

The one I had.

It was out in the woods with our families and friends. We had a meaningful ceremony followed by a heck of a picnic party. There was plenty of food, live music, dancing, time to chat with all our friends, and a warm, loving spirit to the day. What's more, we didn't break the bank doing it. A couple tiny things went wrong, but they only added to the quirky good humor of the day.

Fourteen years later, I wouldn't change a thing...especially not the groom, who I love more with each passing day.

haha, so I'm still 17 but I'm still gonna answer this one!!
So my first request would be, someone whose good looking to me, who calls me beautiful when I wake up with funny hairstyles, who likes to go somewhere boring but is interesting enough to be with his company. (this is my dreaming husband....so I'll guess I'll keep on dreaming)
Secondly I'd like my wedding to be held on a beach no fuss and frills, just a quite simple wedding my family and his and just a couple of friends. At sunset the red shimmery sky will be just the perfect touch to a couple of photos that would last a lifetime, for our children..hahaha sooo dreamy
then I'd like to go to a honeyoon either to one of these countries Austria, Bavaria(Southern Germany), Switzerland, Mauritus or else an Alaskan Cruise....wahha yeah I know I've got a fertile immagination!!

The one man and me In a field by a lake. The ceremony with the friends we love. Wild flowers,Victoria sandwich cakes covered in strawberry's drinking cider paddling in the water. Well that's the venue sorted. Gypsy band with excellent guitarists. Lanterns floating on little boats in the water balmy night with a light breeze stars twinkling and moonlight. Swimming in the water in the moonlight.

for me it has to be an intimate cerimonsy with immediate family and close friends there, then everyone else comes to the reception where the happy couple and friends and family celebrate the begining of their life together, the celebrating includes plenty of drinking and dancing and munching thru the buffet lol i dont really want fancy just plain and simple

weddings nowadays are really over the top. it should be about the couple, not about how much you spend or how fancy it is. The more meaningful and personal the wedding is for the couple, the better.
