I'm afraid of failing. Really. If I get anything below a 90 i FLIP OUT. And I'm always nervous during tests. Even thought I always know the materal, i'm always nervousthat I might fail.

My school, anything below a 80means I need to repeat it BTW. Polocy there.

But really, is it really that crazy? Even myy mom thinks I put toomuch preasure on myself.

I think that you are puttin too much preasure on yourself I was lazy and put little effort into my tests this year and I've past all of them so far and was just one mark below the top in my class in one of them so maybe just try and relax because as you said you know the material, in the tests I do at school we get given the material with the tests so it's much harder as we don;t know what we're getting so just relax cos if you know the material you should pass.

I don't think it is that irrational. I grew up in Catholic schools and boy was that tough. But the education really paid off.

On the other hand, you may investigate and consider the use of handy items like spell check...

Just a thought.

90% is rather extreme -- good -- but extreme to be flipping out. But then, it looks like you must allow yourself to slip sometimes --
(rewrite:)
To demand 90% or better of yourself is great, and better than most of us.
It appears you have found a place to give yourself some slack, in the spelling and typing of your question.
--So maybe you're more average than you think!

80% is the pass/fail line?
Well, you might be if it was 60% like at my school, but in your case I'd deffinately say no!
Even so, try not to stress yourself to hard, at you school even a 90% is well witthin passing!

EDIT: yes, i know I changed my awnser on you! They may, but my school was ranked as one of the highest in California, as well as fairly high in the top 100 nationwide!

No, you are not irrational. In my opinion, the school is irrational. They are too demanding and putting an abundance of pressure on their students. It is most difficult to be at ease and thrive under such severe circumstances.
