does this sound like a good cake? i am making a sheet cake and i was thinking about mixing up some strawberry jello mix and once i get the cake out of the oven pouring the mix in holes poked randomly throughout and putting in refrigerator and once cooled i was thinking about putting a lemon glaze on the top made of powdered sugarand lemon juice. what do u think?

Sounds very yummy!!! We usually "frost" ours with light whipped cream.

yes that works. What you do is make the jello like you are making gigglers and don't pour all the jello into the cake just put a little bit into each hole. You can make the holes about 2-3 inches apart.

I easily have in no way made a jello poke cake yet I easily have made a Pudding poke cake. Whip up on the spot pudding and placed it interior the poked holes. undecided what a jello cake might style like.

Yep, Jello Poke Cake.
Make sure you cool the cake before you put the jello in it.
You add less water to the jello mix too, I think.
I always put cool whip on top after it is cooled.

A white cake with strawberry jello in the holes yum
or a lemon cake with lime jello citrusy

my mom makes it all the time...it's reeeaaaally good...and really moist. my mom uses blue jello
