*hey, it's better to not stress out and get really mad when getting violations.. it's better to be hypocrite for a few seconds and pretend you like them so life goes easier.......... Agreed?

I enjoy receiving violations. They're almost love notes: Yahoo cares enough to show me the Error Of My Ways! I hope I'll always deserve such gentle guidance...

I'm with Donna F on this one. I hate how some people use the "Report Abuse" link instead of a thumbs-down just because they disagree with you and wish to silence you. Those who can't handle differing opinions have no business in a public setting--and that's what this is, people.

I only report those who post obviously trolling questions which spit racial or otherwise hateful viewpoints. Some people are simply too stupid to be polite. But for disagreeing with them? That's par for the course! They call it "Yahoo Answers," when it's more like "Yahoo Users' Opinions." You absolutely will not agree with everyone on here. Period. That's not a reason whatsoever for reporting them.

But to report me? Then send me hateful email after blocking me so that I can't reply (which I usually don't try to, anyway)? Coward. Plain-faced coward. Of course then there's dealing with the oh-so-fair Yahoo! Moderation team which doesn't bother to even read reported content, and always seems too busy to respond to the emails you send to dispute the violation(s).

It ticks me off when I get a violation for something that was not a violation. But there are times that I'm just as rude as the question and I get a violation....but I deserve that one.

The first one I got, I felt terrible...but it was really undeserved. And then I got a few over some of the questions I asked...okay, so they were more chatty, but I wanted people to relate some of THEIR experiences...and this was when my husband and I got sealed...anti-Mormons...well, Karma, being what it is....

At this point, I must admit, I have been much more active on facebook, and I have been really busy with my kids and with our house, and I have been pretty conservative with my answers so as to not offend...

...but that can change...

I get ticked off. I would much rather someone email me saying why I offended them than just have them report and run. Otherwise I'll continue doing whatever I'm doing with no knowledge that someone is getting upset over it.

That and I sometimes get paranoid and think there must be someone out there with a personal vendetta against me.

Q: Do you get exited when you get violations?

A: No. I just add the suspects to my BLOCKED list.

I can't say I get excited when I get them. I just accept them as a part of participating in this forum. However I do like to help others whenever I can so would you like me to report this question?...

lol...just kidding!

Actually, I find it unfair. I get reported, then I get an email from who obviously reported me, cursing me out. When I go to email back, they block me. Cowards!
